The Early Childhood Approach service offers support to families with children aged 0 – 8, providing assistance, guidance, and access to community support.

If your child is between 0 – 8 years old and experiences a disability or if there are developmental concerns, they may qualify for NDIS support through the Early Childhood Approach service.

Delivering quality intervention during the early years of your child’s life can reduce the potential need for prolonged intervention and assist them in leading a typical life over time.

In its role as the NDIS Partner responsible for Early Childhood Approach services, Embrace Quality Care serves as the primary contact for parents and caregivers of infants or young children facing developmental delays or disabilities. We collaborate with families to ensure swift and straightforward access to necessary supports.

What is Early Childhood Intervention?

Early intervention ensures that young children facing a disability or developmental delay receive the necessary support at the earliest opportunity. Acknowledging that families possess the most intimate knowledge of their child, specialists in early intervention collaborate with families, offering strategies to integrate into everyday activities and routines, both within the home and the community.

How will Embrace Quality Care work with you and your child?

Embrace Quality Care will connect your family with an Early Childhood Approach Coordinator, a specialist in child development with qualifications and experience in early education, family support, or allied health. Your Coordinator collaborates with you to identify areas of strength and areas where your child may benefit from additional support. Together, decisions are made about the most suitable supports for your child.

A diverse range of supports is available:

  • Support can be provided in various everyday environments, including at home, childcare, playgroup, sporting activities, and community events.
  • Families and caregivers will receive assistance in aiding their children to develop and apply new skills.
  • Each child and family has unique needs, requiring different types of supports and services.
  • Partners delivering the Early Childhood Approach service will work closely with families to provide tailored support based on the individual needs of each child and family.
Our community-focused approach involves identifying the most effective intervention supports children may require. We strive to support inclusion in existing community services while also creating a pathway into the NDIS for children in need of longer-term support.

“There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that their rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they can grow up in peace.”
